Wolverine, Birthdays, & To Boldly Go

So I figure if I'm not writing about what has been going on in my life since my last post then I will never post anything. Well here goes my next rant and rave. Thursday night was great we went to the first half of the boys soccer game then had Wyldlife which worked out pretty well considering Sam Begg was still gone for one last night and Katie Cunningham was at a graduation dinner I think however Doug Grennan was there to help out and it worked out great. Following club we drove kids home and me and Matt Cain proceeded to go over to the Giles to welcome the newly graduated leaders into our midsts. after hanging out eating Ice cream and talking the Younglife night ended and the Latelife started with the midnight premiere of X-MEN Origins: Wolverine.

Overall good story which has been changed and altered from the true comic book story of Logan's past. 1. Logan and Sabertooth are not brothers and the man who created sabretooth even wanted him to be Logan's dad. 2 the graphics were mostly great through the whole film except in a few places where the adamantium claws look like there floating around on Logan's hand and when the professor picks up the kids at the end it's a CGI field their running through and nothing else. All in all not a bad movie just doesn't follow the comic book and doesn't follow good graphics ethics.

Saturday night. SURPRISE!!! Sam Begg surprise birthday party guys only. The night consisted of snacks of all kinds multiple games of Settlers of Catan and Cities and Knights of Catan. Intermittent games of Mariokart on the WII as well. Sam /begg will be turning 40 this year the day after I turn 21. so be prepared for that.

Tomorrow is May 6th which wouldn't be anything special except I get to go see the sneak premiere of Star Trek for my birthday with my brother and our girlfriends. I am more excited for this movie premiere than any other movie that will come out this year and thats a lot considering Wolverine came out and Terminator: Salvation is only 2 weeks away.

Until next time I remain in a misery smile
